    Brass LR badges

A while back I has some brass badges cast at a local shop, this is the result. Anti-tamper screws in the front, just hope I don't lose the special tool!Click image for larger version

Don't worry, if you lose it; I have one. Where do you park your Rover?

Had "some" cast? Where are the rest and how do I get one? Wyoming is too far for a heist.

I had a "pair" cast. They turned out nice. They were about fifty bucks a pop, and needed cleaning and polishing. If there was enough interest I guess I could have more made but that wasn't the purpose of my original post. Anyone looking to get this done themselves, I could run them thru the process. In the meanwhile I'll make sure my 45LC lever gun is loaded and by the door. Ha!

Nice..., Marlin? (no thread hijack) I think the Brass looks cool. I refinished the original cast aluminum on my SII.

Naw, it's a Puma. Stainless hexagon barrel with brass receiver. Sweetest shooter i have. Now my .444 marlin, that's another story. Named it Kaboom for a reason.

Brass badges have been on almost a year, still holding their polish. But Wyoming/Colorado climate is gentle compared to the Northeast.

Why brass? The aluminum cast is so perfect.
