    Defender Roll Bar

Does the Defender roll cage fit series rovers?

    Thanks

If you are asking about the external unit I'm not 100% sure but I don't think so. My answer is based on a restoration ECR did on a Series Rover where they had to custom build a Defender type external cage/roll bar. Here is a link to that restoration: http://www.eastcoastrover.com/87.html

I saw that restoration. They did an awsome job. They always seem to go above and beyond over basic bolt on parts.

It has been done, check this out:

I havent looked into it yet, but it looks promising. it doesnt look like anything had to be cut, but i could be wrong.

I looked at more of the pictures, the roll bar looks like its more of a "sport bar", there is nothing tieing it into the frame, its just sitting on the capping. There looks like the possibility of fabbing something to tie it in though, but right now its just a heavy hoop set.

The PO had a saftydevices external defender cage installed on the Series 3 before I purchased it. The Cage was not included in the deal so I don't have one. My Series has the holes on the body where the cage was mounted so I have to cover them up or just build a cage for it.
