    TC filler plug stuck

Tried everything and only succeeded in high levels of frustration and boogering the plug up a bit. Had it off a few months ago no problem...never has been until now. Suggestions?

The FILLER plug? The enormous cube sticking out halfway up the rear vertical edge of the transfer case?

It's pretty fool-proof; Just put the appropriate wrench on it and turn it ANTI-clockwise AS YOU LOOK AT THE PLUG FROM THE REAR, FACING FRONT.

PS: I commend you for checking the level of your transfer case every few months.

      Thanks for the commendation, Mark.
I understand the simplicity of the plug, but it won't turn at all. Never had this problem with it before...always came right off.

Order a new one and use the best pipe wrench you can find to take out the old one. Let it soak in some penetrating oil of your choice first.
