Is that one of the fancy rev-limiting rotors? If so, I've heard of those going wonky, but never experienced it. It would be a prime suspect.

Will a Tr6 or other Lucas 6cyl rotor retrofit?

Looking for a 25D6 distributor looks like it will be tough to find. If you break that one trying to get the rotor off, you will likely need to have yours rebuilt.

We rebuild Lucas distributors and sell related spare ignition parts including coils, leads, ignitors.

is over in the UK, but they seem to be the only place I could quickly find that can get you a replacement distributor.

If you break something I may have an extra one like yours, my 2.6 has a slightly different distributor on it. It has a second vacuum tube on the other end of the diaphragm, never been able to find another.

Replaced the condenser, no luck. So now to figure out what to do with this distributor and it's odd rotor arm. This may seem like a dumb question, But according to Napa's website, you can use this distributor..... Is this true?

I bet you'll soon be able to tell US!

Says for a series rover 2.6 6-cylinder engine. In fact, that's the ONLY compatibility shown. I winder if there's any ACTUAL availability though.
