    Wheel offsets

    Is it generally accepted here on "this side of the pond" that 109's and 88's had separate and distinct rim offsets? And this is related to the wheel width? 5.5" on 88's and wider on 109's?

    There was a variety of offset and rim widths, but IIRC they were all in the 5.5"-6" range. I can't remember if my two piece wheels are 5 or 5.5".
    Don't assume for any given wheel, check the PN.

      Is measuring the offset as simple as putting a straightedge across the rim and measuring from the inside? Or is the "offset" a different thing. How many different sizes and offsets of wheels were available?
