By the RN part numbers, I'd say the top one is genuine and the bottom set is ProLine (I suspect that "PLxnnn" in their part numbering system is a giveaway for their ProLine parts).--Mark

Agree, the top one is a Green Box Part........it has a "Land Rover Genuine Parts" logo in the picture.

10 years ago I would have said go Genuine all the way. Today? Not so sure. Perhaps you should call RN and find out who makes their current stock of bearing shells. If it's a known manufacturer then go with them. If it's not, you would have to decide if you want to put unknown parts in such a critical spot and would you want to do the job again sooner than later. Engine and tranny internals are two areas that I wouldn't skimp on myself.Jason
