    Series Battery Group/Size

    Anyone know the correct battery group/size for a series III?

          The battery size I use is the type 24, seems to work fine in my Series III Airportable.

              Is your battery mounted under the middle seat or in the engine compartment?

              I'm not sure of the size I've got in there but the battery in my SIII airportable has always seemed a bit weak being sat under the middle seat. Doesn't seem to get enough power to the coil while cranking... usually only fires just after I release the starter.

              Suppose it could be a weak ground as well. Just wondering I suppose.
