    SIIa max tire width?

I ordinarily like to run 235/85/16s on my series trucks, but I have an opportunity to get a near new set of (5) 32/12.2/15 tires on rims for VERY short money. (i.e. 500 bux)

What are peoples experience and opinions on running such a wide tire on a series truck, near 3" wider than a 235/85?

Will I be rubbing at 1/4 lock? Would/could some spacers help or will I be into the outside of wheel wells?

My concern would be heavy handling of the truck on and off road with such wide tires on the 2A. Pretty sure you would need spacers which I am not fond of (failure point).

YES, you will be rubbing, big time......Not a good thing to put such large rubber on a weak drive line..just my opinion
You will however be able to do 120 MPH........40mph foreward------40mph sideways (wobble) & 40mph up & down.....

I put 235/70R16's on my 1960 109. I thought that I might get rub with stock rims so I went with a different offset rim from Oklahoma Offroad http://www.okoffroad.com/ and don't for get to look for the Land Rover car wash photo............

Forget the rubbing, that's an awful wide tire for a series rim. I'd be worried about losing the beads.

            I went narrower....

Found a new set of Pirelli Mud Scorpions in 31x9x15 Still a tad wider than I like but off-road tires are very limited down south.
