Locker question and dif id help

Can anyone tell me how to Id axle spline on my 1982 series3 10 or 24 without pulling them?
Does anyone know if a lockrite locker is available for the rover? (I've called tech support can't get a call back)
I'm not a big fan of Detroit
I've had a few problems with my last set of arb's

    thanks for the help!

You can tell what spline the outers are by removing the grease cap or front hub if you have them. The inners? Only way to know for sure is to remove them.

It takes about ten minutes to undo the drive flange bolts and pull the axle out. Fronts are ten spline without a doubt.

I don't know...but the outer axels in my series 3 FRONT axel assembly were 24 spline. Had to change them out to 10 spline to fit a Warn hub.

Your inner is most likely 10 spline though. Quite common.

            just a update

I talked to powertrax/richmond gear the do not make a lockrite lunch box locker for the rover.

so back to the drawing board unless anyone knows of a locker besides detroit limited slip or arb

The only cons i had with the arb are as follows:

            1. cost.... lockers $1,041.99 each comp, $499.99 total parts $2,797.15 after tax add $800.00 to that if you dont do labor yourself approx total $3,597.15

            2. If your diferential vent line clogs i have had issues with rearend grease finding its way thru the air line

            3. I have not had problems with air leaks but have had electrical problems with comp. and night running with too many lights as is on an older electrical system not digging it too much + 3 switches

other than that arb lockers are great!

please let me know if anyone knows of another locker

            thanks

Ashcroft, but you'll need 24 spline axles. IDK if they even have any at present. A call or email to them will be the next step I should think.
