In an attempt to repair a leaking heater core today, I was scouring the house looking for a "plug" of some kind that would enable me to plug the inlet and outlet hoses of the core while I removed it and worked on it. After looking everywhere around the house, I finally asked my wife what she thought. Without hesitation, she says "just use the cork from a bottle of wine." Well, I'll be...wouldn't you know, most corks are 5/8" in diameter and that was the perfect size to plug the hoses. After thanking her for the idea, she made me promise to post on my "Rover website" that my wife had come up with a great idea.

So, there you have it...it was a great idea from my wife...
