    1973-1973 NAS bulb question

What is the correct bulb that lights the switches on the dash and does anyone know where to find a replacement? It fits in the plastic hood above the switches. This was only found on the '73s and '74s. Thanks.

There are three possibilities. Either a screw base m10, Wedge base or a BA7 base. Most likely it is a wedge base. You can get these in analog from RN or LED at Superbrightleds.com.

The bulp looks like a glass fuse. I have it on mine.

        Those are called "festoon" bulbs.

Definitely, it is a festoon bulb. Does anyone know where to get one? I had inquired of RN years ago and they did not know what I was talking about. What is the size and wattage? Suspect low wattage so it does not overheat the plastic housing. Thanks.

                Here'e some pictures...

Sadly I could not read the bulp watts. Forgot my glasses at work... Check with Radio Shack or a Electronics repair shop for a new bulp.

Thanks martindktm. I think I have the bulb somewhere. If anyone else can give me the wattage, most appreciated. Must say IIRC, the bulb ends or terminals were tapered and not squared off like a fuse which they appear to be in the picture below.
