    Hard to steer series2a

    Hello,
    i am having series2a 1964 and through re-build I did not rebuild swivel, where in article in following link http://www.eastcoastrover.com/85.html with replacing the front axel with stage 1 of 1980 v8 make steering easy!

    Following are mine swivel image covers by leather (I did not remove the leather afread from not getting same)

    Have you tried filling the steering relay with oil? It is in the front crossmember behind the radiator grill. To do this take 1 bolt out of 2 opposing sides and dribble oil in 1 of them until full. You can also check for oil in the steering box located at the lower end of the steering column. Those are the two main causes. You would have to go into more detail of your issue to get more advice.

      Yep...it is steering box behind the grill. reassembled, polished the rod and filled with grease.

      Now it is much easy to steer thanks.
