    Stretching a canvas top?

I recently installed a used canvas top on my Series 3. it's too short at the back by about 3 inches. Does anyone know of a proven way to stretch it?

    Thanks

Soak it with water and pull it into shape (though I think getting 3 inches out of it might be a bit of a "stretch" ).

This. Hang some weights from it, and keep re-wetting it. Give it a couple of days. You might get there.

I'd be interested to know how you get on with this approach... I've got the same problem. So far I've just accepted that it's short and lived with it, but if you have some success I may give it a try too.
