    Source for a part...

    All:

I'm looking for an oil pressure sender - electric - for a 68 Series IIa. Gauge is oil pressure only. I know the electric oil pressure senders are rare these days - anyone come across a source for these lately? I know there are other ways to get to an oil pressure solution, but I'm looking to keep the vehicle as original as possible and stay electric.

Did you call our hosts (Rovers North)? I understand they sell land rover parts from time to time.

Also, there's nothing special about those senders AFAIK. If you know the range of the sender and the thread specs, you can probably pick up a suitable replacement at your local auto parts store.

If RN doesn't have one try gaugeguys.com, Moss Motors, and George.

I second (or is it third) what everyone else said about first checking with RN.

If you you have no luck there... you might try Holden over in the UK... it looks like they have some.

Ahhh - right. Thanks. I've bought a few bits from him. Didn't know his name.
