convert V8 series from carbu to injection

Hi

I just join this forum, i am from Indonesia i have V8 series and try to convert from carbu to injection, the reason is for speed. try to find in Indonesia but no one knows how to do that. normally what they do convert double carbu to single carbu, really appreciate if someone can help me, my question :

1. is this doable?
2. is there any manual on how to do that?

Yes you can convert to injection. You will need to source a 1987-94 Range Rover or Discovery. You take everything off the engine and transfer it to your 3.5. Be sure to get the complete wiring along with the coil and alternator. Don't forget the engine computer.
You will also modify the fuel by installing a high pressure fuel pump (you need about 45psi pressure) and a return line to the tank.
The Rover EFI gets its timing signal from the coil.
As for a manual, you can use the Range Rover or Discovery workshop repair manual, which covers the fuel system quite well.
You can also go another direction. This will require that you buy the Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor intake manifold. This is the basis for installing either the Holley Pro-Jection kit or modify a Rochester TBI unit with an adapter plate to fit on the 4 barrel intake. The Rochester TBI units are made by the millions and are available for cheap. They came on virtually every GM V8 powered car or truck in the 80s and 90s. They use low pressure fueling so you can get by with the existing fuel pump. 14psi.
Use either the GM computer or a Megasquirt to control the Rochester TBI.
