1967 Station Wagon.. Front Left Hub

    New issue

    Front Left Hub.

Broke one lug bolt, screw in type..

It looks like they screw it in, flat the back ofit some how to keep in in place.

How to fix is the question

    A) Put a new screew in it and then weld it? ( tack it)

    B) Clean hole up and press a new press in type.

Your view on how to fit it?

I did putting on new rims and tire.

    thanks

I'd drill and press in five new ones. Don't weld it, it will make future repairs more of a pain.

As per Revtor's comment above, they're not screwed in, they're pressed in - but make sure you get the right size. The lug bolt changed in size between the series IIa and the series III (series III is bigger).

This hub, all lugs are the screwed in type on all location of this hub. If I am reading correct, I need to pull the hub, drill out the hole to the proper size, and replace with a new press in type lug, 13/16.

How, what would the proper hole size for the press in type lug be?

            thanks
