    Cleaning the hard top

My 60 S2 hard top has had a really bad paint job in the past and once had some rubber filler applied to it. It is aluminum of course. Any suggestions as to if I should have it sand or bead blasted or will this damage the aluminum. Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance!!

Soda blast it. Won't damage the aluminum or the glass.

I used automotive paint stripper on mine. Paint on the stripper, cover it with with a drop sheet for 15 mins, pull off the drop sheet and the paint will come right off. It took me a weekend. Do it in a well ventilated place - outside is best.

I found that getting it repainted again is way more difficult and expensive. Mine was supposed to be done for last winter, but it's still sitting there waiting to be finished...
