two speed wiper switch install

I just purchased a two speed wiper switch to replace the original lucas part. My problem is I have no idea where the wires go. I attempted to put them on in the same spot they were on the lucas switch and ended up blowing a fuse. I see letters on each post, but I have no idea how they relate to the actual wires that go on them. Any help would be appreciated.
