Distributer mounting plate needed 2.25l engine

So I've had recurrent running issues for some time and decided to get some spares/replacements but 12V this time, essentially converting the HT side from 24V to 12V.

    So I bought:-

    a) Hot-spark 45D4 electronic distributor

    b) Hot-spark coil

    c) HT leads

    d) Plugs

    e) 24V to 12V convertor

Then, on disassembling everything, I find that the securing plate on the military distributor is different and the holes don't line up so I can't secure the new distributor in. I can't use the original locking plate, I tried but it's a different size. Ho...hum.

Anyone have an old broken 2.25l engine with the standard 12V system that had a 25D4 or 45D4 installed that could send me the distributor mounting hardware ?

I'm talking about the plate that is screwed into the engine, NOT the distributor adjustment plate for slightly adjusting the ignition point.

    Frustrated.

So anyone have an old, broken engine 2.25L they can pull off the 'adapter, distributor' plate.

That's the one that the distributor slides into.

Either the 25D4 or 45D4 plate will do.

Tried searching all over and emailing some companies, but no success yet.

        PM'd you leafsprung.

It's the plate attached to the engine that the distributor slides into.

Apparently, the military distributor is tapered and a slightly different length, so a different plate is needed.
