109 rear brakes on an 88 axle
06-20-2015, 01:30 PM
Hi,will 109 rear brake assys fit on an 88 axle? or do I just have to bite the bullet and modify the 109 axel to fit? I happen to have an essentially new (rebuilt) set of 109 fr,r axels I want to use on my 88.
Thanks

109 rears on 88 rear? IIRC they should, provided you use the complete assembly, from the backing plate out.

Is it a Salisbury rear end? If so if you are not going to use it where are you located?
