    Fly Screen Installation

Anyone install any fly screens recently into a Series 2a? A Rover that is already fully together. What appears to be a 2-3 hour job will probably take 2 days. Just looking for any tips or problems that someone may have encountered before I start.

    I assume:
    - pull the pins on the vents
    - remove the vent control lever attached to the inside of the vent
    - take the vents off
    - insert the fly screens from the outside into the truck
    - feed the lever through the hole in the fly screen
    - and put everything back together.

    Thanks

Dunno what you have for screens, but mine go on from inside. No disassembly of the vents required.

I know they mount on the inside. They are the single screen version so the vent assembly needs to be detached and fed through the screen hole.
The thought was to try to go through the outside - in, so I would not have to remove all the defroster pan fascia and hoses from the inside. Yes, if they were the two panel version they would slip right in.

Probably much more common than the 2-piece screens:
