    Picture of a 7:1 and 8:1 head

Can anyone share with me a picture of a 7:1 and/or 8:1 head so I can compare to mine? For the life of me I cannot find anything that will help me out :/ I've read the descriptions and while they all say the same, I'm just not seeing it.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Mike:

    Below is my 8:1 head.

I know this because - On the top of the head, next to the carb is a square raised block (see red arrow). On that block I had an embossed 8... Really two zeros next to each other to make an eight 00 . You may need to rub off paint and or dirt to see it. Mine was faint but definitely there.

TerriAnn explains other ways to tell here: http://www.expeditionlandrover.info/...Q/FAQ_head.htm

Also, you can lookup your engine serial number and check this site out to get some other insights: http://www.glencoyne.co.uk/engno.htm
