We were in Stowe Sunday with my 88 but was to cheap to spend $30 to walk around in a muddy field. So we contiued on our way to Maine.
Looked like it was going to be a nice day.
Talked to some people at the camp ground Saturday night and they said a lot of people had already taken off.

A great time right up until the end!

Even in the rain on Saturday (it didn't rain all the time). Lots of laughs, tailgating, people having fun. I couldn't understand why people would show up just to leave when the weather was turning nice. And Friday was nice, too.
The mud was not that big a deal, IMO.
