Which engine are you looking for? Thread title says 2.5 but your description says 2.25??? In either case I presume that you are looking for a used engine? If no one here responds post a "wanted" thread in the parts section on the Guns & Rovers forum.

I have a repaired chassis with refinished springs, a new exhaust, and a series 3 2.25 engine/gearbox/transfer case bolted on. Engine was not rebuilt...it just ran reasonably well. I am located in Vermont, can post pictures. Would take $1500 for the lot...could tow rolling assembly partway south. its an option.

I HAVE A 1967 2a engine missing carb, fan and starter. It's in Somerville Ma. I pulled it in 1999 and it ran well but used a quart of oil every 300 miles. I put oil and mystery oil in the plug holes and cranked it a couple of times then put in in a garage. I turned it over a few times over the years and oiled pistons again. She's resting peacefully. You can back a truck up to garage in driveway. . No pics, it's my brothers house and he's selling his house. Price is 75 dollars if you can come get it yourself without my help. My dad bought the Rover new in 1967. only change was in 92 when i did an unleaded head on it.
