New, well newly posting.... 83 88"

Alright so it's about time I introduce myself. Long story short, I had my 83 88 shipped over from the U.K. Because it was suppose to be in perfect shape. After arrival, (check the pics) it's far from it. Half hazardly welded frame, bondo work on the frame to pass the MOT etc. I've made pretty good head way and plan on posting often/more often.

Right now looking to see if anyone can help me out on removing the lower door posts on the bulkhead? I've got the whole thing torn apart and can't find if it's spot welded in or just stuck from rust. Any help appreciated.

Enjoy the pics, I've got them from when it was being shipped to the current state.

Any comments, tips or questions welcome.

Thank you to Travis and Rovers North as well!

Are you fitting a new galvy frame whilst you have it apart this far?
The door posts are welded in, are you in need of these :-

It's hard to see from the pix above.

      Hey Les-

Thank you, I actually have a set of the shorter ones that looked like they were just the inserts. The bulkhead posts look good, however these are rotted away. Any help with where they're welded? I can't see in the rust and tight space. Yes on the galvi frame picked it up from you guys in late sept! Working on getting there. Click image for larger version
