    steering box -- correct oil?

I've got my left front wing off ('70 SIIA) in order to change out clutch master cylinder at the moment and it seems like the ideal time to drain/refill the steering box. I'm assuming it's the same oil as the gearbox -- EP90 GL-4. Can someone please confirm?

    Thanks.

90wt is correct, if it is dry around the steering box. If the seals are gone, and it is weeping out, Lucas hub oil will work and stay in the box much better.

There's still oil in there, so in spite of the weeping the seals are doing something...

I do have some Penrite 250 weight -- but I suspect that's too thick, huh?

I don't know how thick 250 weight is, but I'd imagine with people using One Shot grease in the box, it would be fine.
