visit the rovers down south website. George has a download for installation of the Fairey OD. It looks like a fairly straight forward install.

Rovers North offers a COMPLETE rebuilt High Ratio transfer box.
No extra shift lever required! Just 1st through 4th and up to
      interstate speed!
Same price as just buying an overdrive...but, you also get the
      whole rebuilt Transfer box.

It is an easy install and should not take more than 2 to 3 h. All you need are a few basic tools and a drill and hole cutter, and virtually no mechanical know-how.

The high ratio transfer case takes a lot longer to install. Another advantage of the OD over the high ration transfer case is that it does not permanantly change the gear ratios unless the OD is engaged (OD ca be shifted in and out and used in different gears). You can still drive stock gears if you like.

The other OD option apart from the Fairey unit is the Roverdrive, which has great reviews (I am pleased with mine too!). My experience of Fairey's ius they tend to leak oil...there are a couple of other brands of ODs as well, but less common.

Although I don't have any experience with an OD other than the Fairey I would go with the Roverdrive and will when my current Rover gets to that point in her rebuild.
