My friend has a 109 IIa with a 2.5 na Diesel. It is exhibiting the following symptoms:
Starts well.
As engines warms, it starts to knock. The noise becomes more pronounced as engine gets warmer and/ or when under load. It appears the noise is coming from the top of the engine.
According to to my friend the engine was very low on oil.
Any help, advice, opinions would be appreciated.
