    starter motor not disengaging

    series 3 year old starter just started acting up occasionally the starter will not disengage now its stuck on all the time , luckily I have a battery kill lever to kill power any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. is it ignition or something else

      when I hit the solenoid it stops so going to start there

          Remove starter, bench test, watch to see if gear is returning when you cut power,
