The previous owner left the shop, made it a block and the engine ''seized''. they'd not refilled the crank case. by omitting some intrigue I discovered the engine runs with 40psi but I see no oil laying on the head and i think i heard a squeak coming out of the valve cover so until i undo that lube line to the head i haven't wanted to drive it but damn, !!, it's just sitting out there and i got so much else to do.
It's a nice 2A with the 'newer' 8-1 engine it seems. (and a spare (original?) ) 16" wheels, overdrive, electronic, spin on, headers, nice carb ............. a great find with a story behind it. what would you do if you didn't have a lot of time to spend on it for a couple years? i've cut open the old filter & didn't see much at all, it'll blow a lot of oil on the ground before you can get to the key ............. i don't think there is really anything wrong with it and i never saw a lot of oil going to any head adjusting valves with engine running.
