    Pertronix & Ducelier distributor

    All,

    I searched the forum and saw that several of you are running a Pertronix electronic iginition with Ducelier distributor. Could anyone provide me which Pertronix part number is needed for the conversion? I think my choices are LU142a, LU143 or LU144. I suspect it's the 144 which corresponds to the Lucas 45D4 distributor. Thanks in advance.

      Nope.....
      Go to the Pertronix website and open up the PDF catalog for ignitions. Land Rovers are listed under "Rover".

      The LU142A is for 25D4 distributor, the LU144 is for the later 45D4 dizzy; then for any with a Ducellier, you use EP142 (LU is their Lucas code).
