My S3 88 has a Fairey overdrive. It is leaking from the end of the intermediate shaft ( has a half moon shaped end exterior to the housing). There is an o-ring on the shaft just inside the housing that serves as an oil seal. I suspect that this o-ring has gone bad. I have read that one can pry out the shaft just enough to change the o-ring. Does anyone have any experience with changing this o-ring? I tried to pry mine out but it would not budge. Would like to know how to pry the shaft out gently.....or is what I have read wrong and I really have to remove the OD and take it apart to change one o-ring? If there is a secret on how to pry out the shaft please tell me. Any advice appreciated. Jim
