my "65 IIA is red from the factory.I was told it'a a "rare" color.Any truth to that?Thanks

If its the Poppy red, then yes its somewhat rare.

You may be lucky enough to see a sticker under the hood (right at the front) with a colour code #.

I"m wanting to think that read somewhere that the color "Red" was like a premium and an added cost in the purchases of a new series car.
