Series III steering wheel

My series III steering wheel is showing normal wear from it's many years of service but can anyone help me with dealing with the small cracks it has developed. Can these cracks be filled and the whole wheel be sealed?

Yes, you can use two part epoxy paste like the PC7 brand, but any one should do. Then paint with a good quality glossy paint.
