Petrol Cylinder Head- What is this??

I’m swapping to a new cylinder head on my petrol 2a and noticed something next to the thermostat housing and have no clue what it is. I see it in pictures in manuals but nothing ever talks about it at all. Any insight would be great.

Im not 100% positive because i dont have one in my 8:1 head but i believe thats the remnants of your otter switch. Its a temp sensor that works in conjunction with your cold start warning light. In good shape one would have an electrical spade connector on top.
