72 Series 3 SWB Seat box

I'm in the process of building my 72 Series 3 SWB restomod, and I've swapped the motor and transmission, requiring a larger transmission tunnel. Based on my measurements, the later defender seat box would accommodate the required dimensions. My question is are the the Series 3 and Defender seat boxes interchangeable? In other words, can i directly bolt a defender seat box into my series 3 without needing to move floor bolts or other modifications?
