Brake switch?

1970 Santana 2a front distribution brake block had a switch with 2 wires one of which was disconnected yet no light on the dash. Ideas what this was for? Replaced block with a 4 way block instead of a 5 way and eliminated the switch gonna trace wires once new engine is installed.

this was mentioned about 4 months ago, someone will eventually recall. It may of been notice that the ''tipping'' valve was operating so half the brake system was obviated but i'm not sure.
