Eric, soo glad you started this thread! I really love your first photo with your wife and Lab. Curious, what camera do you use?

I just drove home today in my Cooper S from RN with the sun roof open and window down at 36 deg out - very awakening! Hopefully we'll get some more creative top down shots in Land Rovers out in the snow. Maybe from the Winter Romp coming up soon??

Anywho, I've waited for the correct thread to post these photos on. It's not me, but a fellow RN Forum member (ducttape) motoring to Hudson Bay in 2005 (hope it's ok w/ you David to post photos) I'm sure that Ducttape is going to chime in soon on this one in a MINI Cooper S too boot!

More photos, and all from Ductapes site which is a great story BTW.

I guess this pic. wins by a short, cold nose?

I was going to ask where the flipped over pictures were. I've had 3 MINIs and saw all the ducttape pictures around the MINI boards for the past few years.

Did he have his hi-lift when that happened?

I was going to link up all of David's photos, but just held off to those few. They certainly had a blast on that trip, AND take the cake for this threads title, "I roll mine all year long".

[sorry Erik OP (Original Poster) this is slightly off-topic...] Awesome - 3 MINIs !! Schweet . I'm on my first, a 2006 MINI Cooper S, run it up and over the rallye road mountain to RoversNorth everyday! The most "top open" motoring I can claim is full open sunroof and windows down while it's snowing . ps... my '06 S made the cover of the NEMINI calendar - it's the Chili Red one with the balloon above it.

I just LUV the lead pic in this thread! I'm trying to get some good shots of my dog in the Series III in the snow. Hopefully, soon

I've held off replying about the MINI because I was looking through a whole bunch of pics people have sent me from my postings. Someone sent a pic of a series camped out on the frozen Bay, but I can't seem to find it.

Feel free to use my pics for posting or to try to explain to the 'flatlanders' why we do this stuff. They'll never get it...

Congrats on making the calendar. I went on a few NEMINI runs when I had the time. I had an 03 S then an 06 S (with mods!), and then an 02 Cooper. Now the other cars are a 98 M3 and a 97 Police Interceptor.
