ambulance exhaust

Did RN used to carry an ambulance exhaust? Was it different from the military 109? thanks Jim

I believe the ambulance exhaust was similar to the 109SW - having the muffler sit just forward of the rear axle. At least that is how it is on my GS109 (ex-ambulance). I know there were part numbers for "ambulance" exhaust pipes, but i'm not sure of the specific differences.

I need new exhaust for my 109. I'm thinking of getting the IIa military intermediate pipe and rear muffler w/RH exit.
