I have looked all thorugh the FAQ and still have not found how to post a picture in a post? I'm not looking to post a link to a picture but the picture it's self.
3. After you upload your photo on your new webserver space, have the image you want on your browser (preferably the right sized one too) and right click (or control click on a Mac) on the photo, and "Copy Image Location".
4. Buzz over here to the RoversNorth forum and go to the thread you want to post the photo into. Or you can start a new thread, or "Quote", or "Reply" in an existing thread.
5. In the WYSIWYG editing box where you type the message, there are little icons across the top - click on and then paste in the "Copy Image Location" URL from step 4. This will "link" your photo (hosted on your webserver account) to the RoversNorth forum.
I must be doing something wrong. I still can only post a link to the photo. I see other people have posted the picture right in the post. How is this done? Years ago I spent lots of time writing in HTML but right now I just feel dumb.
Opps, my bad . I had Dynamic URL for [IMG] tags turned off. As you can see, in the above post, if you copy and paste a URL with the "?v=0" at the end of the .jpg then it wasn't working. Should be good to go now. I'll keep and eye on this, as I rather have it turned off to help prevent malicious code. Good news is that you don't need to edit your existing posts , unless of course I've got to toggle it back off...
