    Sealing Door Latches

    Is there something that should be applied to door latch assenblies before they are mounted or can they just be put on. I've got new door bottoms and want to do it correctly.

    You can just put them on if you want, if you want to seal them you can use "strip caulk" or a similar product. Rover used this type of material to seal the seatbox/floors etc.

      strip cauk not only the latches but also the window slides to prevent H2o ingress causing the rust problems on the upper door
