Bugeye SW Being Parted

fyi the frame on this things is COMPLETELY gone. i poked my finger right through the rear cross member just to see if i could do it. I would be nervous loading it on a trailer.
i bought the bonnet, front seats and sills from this kid. he's really a nice guy. the body is pretty clean, but don't count on anything that isn't birmabright or inside the cabin being salvageable.Matt

is it a real Bugeye? The banjo wheel wouldn't be on a bugeye....but then again it has the single motor wiper...'67 sort of station wagon (limestone), '65 gray hardtop, '63 blue Station Wagon, '64 limestone station wagon in piecesComment

ya know, i'm not really sure if it's an authentic bugeye or not. im sure that if you call him up, he would be more than happy to read you the manu. # and frame horn #.
he's sad that it's getting parted out, but he's got a IIa 109, a D90 and a bunch of discos sitting there at his house. his older brother runs a company called http://urbanoffroad.us/ which isn't really my cup of tea, but they love rovers, so it's good either way.
if you're interested give him a call, he seems like the kind of person who would be up late, and it's still before 10pm pst on a friday night.
from his ad "Call 818.825.1944 for any questions or if you need any parts."
let me know what you find out!Matt

I am going up to meet Dustin tomorrow. It seems he needs some parts for his 109, so he is parting out the 88. Hopefully we can swap the parts we need.

Huh?
..sup with that extra shift lever? Does not appear to be a Fairey O/D shifter.

It's either an overdrive or a PTO. If it had a Koenig winch that's where the control lever for the PTO is. With the front stripped like it is there's no sign of the winch. I'm not good enough to tell from the knob at this range.
Cheers
