Thanks guys! I do appreciate it. My girlfriend gets jealous of the rover since I spend a lot of time with it.

Currently ripping the carpet out. It sat under a shed in the mountains for 3 1/2 years. During that time, I think the majority of the surrounding rat and squirrel population moved its family and friends into the rover. So the carpet is definitly done.

Any suggestions on where to get carpet...or alternatives to carpet? Do people spray rhino liner anywhere or would that be considered blasphemous in the Rover community?

I think that Rhino-Liner or Linex is a great way to go provided that you remove anything and everything that may ever have to come off and then spray the individual pieces. Check out the Pabst Blue Rover on the Pangolin4X4 website. To me that is the perfect bulkhead and way to deal with a Rover interior. Another alternative for the front would be one of the moulded matting systems for Series vehicles. They are not inexpensive by any means but then again either is a sprayed on liner. My personal opinion is that it is your Rover to do with it as you see fit to meet your needs. Don't worry about what other people may think. You will find rivet counters that feel that has has already been ruined as a result of the coil suspension to other folks that feel it hasn't gone far enough. It's entirely your call. Just enjoy it.

NC Rover or anyone else. Are those NAS spec Defender rims/Series FC rims on your truck? Can you read the part number stamped into them? I'm considering going the oil sprung route and building your truck a LWB big brother. The only thing is I want to keep the rubber under the wheel arches. I think I can achieve this using stock series 16" rims. On the oter hand I want a set of your rims to put on my '71IIA leafer.

                Nice truck!.

                Cheers

Thanks! I'm pretty sure they are spec defender rims. I'll check when I get home for a part number.
