    Defender bumpers on Series trucks

I have been told, and from how they look it makes sense, that a bumper for a Defender will work on a Series.

    Any ideas?

RN has a tubular winch bumper and 2 others that look good, as long as they will mount a Warn 9.5Ti that is.

they will bolt up, but the mounts are shorter, and, depending on model they are wider (the same width as the defender at the flares) The issue with a defender winch bumper on a series is that the winch tray sits in front of the bumper. This makes a weird gap because the series has a recessed grill where the winch would normally sit. Ive made serveral bumpers for the Ti, I like that winch. Its no 8274 but its nicer than the other plantaries. Heres a Ti on my old 90:

Nice, i forgot that you custom make your bumpers. i like your work a lot, might go with you (Sorry RN)

I bought a mount from DAP (again sorry RN) but i want to upgrade the bumper too. I had to cut the mount so my 9.5 would fit.

I wish I had known this before. There was an ARB Defender bumper on ebay over the summer that ended at a decent price. I emailed ARB directly to ask if it would fit my series and was told it would not.

It depends on the style of bumper, some D90 designs make use of the extended lower frame horns and bolt holes that a series frame does not have. The ARB would probably not look very nice on a series, too busy looking. I prefer no brush bar of any kind.

I had an Equipe 4X4 bumper for my Series- It fit with little fiddling but it looked just plain goofy on a Series IMHO so I gave it to my brother for his FJ40:
