    Side Lamp ?

I have an electrical question. Is this a side lamp that lights up when the headlamps are on, or is it a turn signal light that lights when initiating the right/left turn signal:

The attached link is not my IIA, but it was quicker than taking/uploading a picture of mine. I have a 1970 IIA negative earth, and these are disconnected/cut up to the light on my LR.

The RN circuit diagram has cables for a "side lamp, RH & LH," "side marker, front/rear & LH/RH," and a "front/rear flasher, LH & RH."

I want to make sure I rewire correctly...Which is it and what function does it perform?

    Thanks,

    Chris

It is a side marker light. It is part of the same circuit as your side lights. It does not flash with indicators.

    Cheers
