That looks very close to the Bronze green that I used about 3 years ago on my 1. I could be wrong, I thought the racing green was a bit different? Not trying to be nitpicker - I love it.


I want to paint my garage in that colour. SWMBO has a different one in mind

Maybe it is the film quality of the 50s that make the Series's Ones I see have a blacker green than what they actually are with bronze green. In the old Rover movies they definitely appear dark green.

I have run across a dark bronze green listed as a paint color. Unfortunately I don't recall where. I'll bet the orgional ones didn't have the shine that the newer paints have so they appeared darker. My bronze green was top coated with flat clear which did darken it. Personally I never did really like a really shiney Rover but to each their own.
