      Meh,
Windscreens are for woosies. It's the bugs you have to watch out for. You ever wonder why bikers never smile? It's not because they're dead 'ard.

My wife won't go near it any more.

              I want....

I found that out the hard way, no bugs in the teeth but had a huge blow fly hit me on the tip of my nose and leave some of its little black hairs in the skin.

              Barf.

...and the top is about 15 years old in that picture!! The thing I really like about the Badger top is the oversized windows.

I believe this is a Land Rover top. It has brass eyelets and brass strap hardware. I like it but they seem to be unavailable and quite expensive if you find one. Of course I don't know much about this top so someone else may recognize that it indeed isn't a LR top. I like it either way. I recently treated it with Canvak and it has no leaks whatsoever.

Has Badger renewed production of Series tops? I called Chris a number of years ago and was told they weren't available and likely wouldn't be for the foreseeable future. Badgers not the only one that does over-sized windows.

I've got one of these - kinda. They're very nice.

IIRC Badger Top - cant recall who owns the truck tho

Today, Chris quoted me a price of $2,295 for a 109 LWB top with windows, with a 7 to 8 week lead time. Looks real nice but I've got to get one now.

Wise Owl hasn't finished up their deal with their supplier. So they are out too.

Pangolin4x4 didn't get back to me. The only thing I saw on the site was a 88 setup for $1,300.

Needless to say, I placed my order with our hosts today - $1,300 canvas and hoops, at my place in 2 days. Looks like I'll have something to do this weekend

I called around about a new top recently.. Ike (Pangolin) is pretty busy and hasn't made any tops lately and it seems like he won't have time in the near future. I called RN to order a Land Rover top but they said they are out of stock and then told me that LR isn't making tops anymore. I called BP and spoke with a guy that recommended the Exmoor. I ended up ordering a canvas top from Exmoor and it should ship the 28th of this month. I will post pictures and a review if there is interest.

Amongst the 101 crowd the people who have the best reputation for canvas are Undercover Covers in the UK.

Their tilts are top quality and the prices are competitive. Unfortunately their sales department is awful as I've been trying to order a canvas since christmas and just can't get a reply. They will, however, work with you on custom jobs and, if you feel rich, they even offer mohair as an option.

                            Cheers

All Wheel Trim is another vendor across the pond that offers soft top parts. They even sell a roll bar / seat belt kit for a soft top series.
