1966 88 front brake ??

i know you attach the bottom spring to each of the bottom part of the shoes. do you do the same for the top half, or just attach the leading shoe to the one steady post??. the top spring is not long enough to go from shoe to shoe.

Spring fitting

The top spring goes from the post on the backing plate to the leading brake shoe.
