    Series seat box battery tray.

Ok, those of you who truly KNOW series and defender LR's should know about this.

Is there a difference between the seat box on a defender and a series besides the transmission tunnel?

I ask because i want to get this:

and use it on my series.

    Has anyone done this?

I cant remember if goes on the right or left hand side.
First but gone: 91 3 door Disco "White Rhino"

it won't clear the frame rail on an 88". look @ the series tool box and you will see it has a cutout for the frame. repalcement toolboxes are available for the series, some with a built in recess for the battery. they are evne available galvanized, unlike the one you linked to.

A Land Rover would never turn up to collect an Oscar. It'd be far too busy doing something important, somewhere, for someone."

That is true. From our host's catalog, the series is 66" and the D 70.5 inches wide...
