We have a 1969 Series IIA. We need an appraisal for insurance purposes. Where do I get an appraisal? Thanks in advance.

Ask your insurance company. They probably want a licenced appraisor (most of whom probably wouldnt know anything about rovers) -
If they dont care who does it, have a friend print up an "appraisal" on "offical" appraisal letter head.Comment

You might try one of those auto auction places if you want to make it semi-official. They must have some appraisal ability. I'm sure they'll have no idea what to appraise it at and will probably respond to your suggestion of its value (bring some examples of what similar vehicles have been selling for on...say e-bay, for expample as a starting point). It might be more difficult if you have one of those $35,000 series rovers that haven't sold on e-bay lately.--Mark
