    Help!! Appraisal needed

We have a 1969 Series IIA. We need an appraisal for insurance purposes. Where do I get an appraisal? Thanks in advance.

Ask your insurance company. They probably want a licenced appraisor (most of whom probably wouldnt know anything about rovers)

If they dont care who does it, have a friend print up an "appraisal" on "offical" appraisal letter head.

You might try one of those auto auction places if you want to make it semi-official. They must have some appraisal ability. I'm sure they'll have no idea what to appraise it at and will probably respond to your suggestion of its value (bring some examples of what similar vehicles have been selling for on...say e-bay, for expample as a starting point). It might be more difficult if you have one of those $35,000 series rovers that haven't sold on e-bay lately.

You've got to dig for it--They're in the "Classified" section, then under "Services Offered", then on the left side of the scren under the heading "Browse Types".

Ok!! Thanks guys! No, I don't think ours is a $35k one! My husband is the originial owner and he and his son rebuilt it a few years ago but it is not "pristine"! We just need to get this insurance thing worked out. Thanks!!

Yes!! As soon as we can get pictures, Rovers North can give us one!! Our insurance is thru Farm Bureau. They need an appraisal because we want comprehensive on it for a fixed amount.

Get liability, let the other guy insure his car. The other car is likely going to be the one heavily damaged.

We already have liability; we want to also get comprehensive to cover any damages that occur from "nature" i.e. trees falling on, hurricane, etc etc.
